ABOUT THE AUTHOR

INDIA TROTTER is a former U.S. Women’s National Team member and a Florida State University All-American. Trotter was a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team from 2006-09 where she was an alternate for the 2007 Women’s World Cup and 2008 Beijing Olympic squads. Recruited as “5%er,” Trotter finished her FSU career with 24 goals, 18 assists, and 66 points. She was semi-finalist for the M.A.C. Herman Trophy award as the nation’s top collegiate soccer player in 2006.

Currently, Trotter is an Assistant Coach at the University of South Carolina-Upstate (Spartanburg, SC), where she experiences the rigors of the daily recruitment process of the “95%” with the hopes to help Head Coach Abby Minih
